Gooding’s London sale rescheduled for Hampton Court, 5 September 2020

Gooding’s London sale rescheduled for Hampton Court, 5 September 2020 6th August 2020

The collection of 15 cars belonging to Belgian connoisseur Hubert Fabri, postponed from April due to the pandemic, will now be offered at a ‘live’ sale conducted by Charlie Ross on the Saturday of the Concours of Elegance.

Although run by the veteran auctioneer, bidding will be purely online or via the telephone, with usual arrangements to view the cars prior to the event. Ross is well-known in the UK for his TV work on antiques programmes, and the event will be broadcast live on the Gooding website, YouTube channel, and mobile apps.

You can read the K500 take on the collection when details were first announced in late January HERE.

To say a lot has changed since then would be an understatement, but demand for best-of-the-best cars has not waned in the interim – quite the reverse – and if anyone can be relied upon to add sparkle to a closed event it’s the always-entertaining Ross.

The sale is scheduled to start at 17:00 British Summer Time on Saturday, 5 September.
