Highlights of the year would be two Monterey Week cars, Mecum’s $2.3m Lamborghini Miura P400S and Bonhams’ $1.9m Lancia Aurelia B24 Spider America. The yang to this yin would be the Lamborghini Countach LP400 Periscopica that disappointed at Monterey: $1.3m gross, after cars had sold in 2014 for $1.2m, $1.6m then $1.8m.
