Maximum attack at The Track: The 2023 Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion
It’s hard to fit everything in, but Monterey Week would not be complete without a visit to WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca – known during car week as ‘The Track’.
For out-of-towners, particularly those coming from outside the US, the paddock has a different feel to it. You’re less likely to think, “Is that a real one?” Because, almost without exception, they are.
Which is refreshing; following week after week of British and European races packed with Eastern European Cobras and freshly built UK GT40s, it’s great to see the originals. The downside is fewer entries year by year and maybe a ‘thinner’ feel to the grids today.
Here are some highlights of a stroll round the WeatherTech Raceway paddock.
