ModaMiami 2026
Let’s face it, the weather wasn’t always ideal, but when the sun appeared – as it did for most of the long weekend – the new event at the Coral Gables Biltmore more than justified the organisers’ faith in the concept. Located just a 15-minute Uber ride from Miami International Airport, with a wide range of accommodation nearby to suit all budgets, ModaMiami is a rare example of a top-flight concours that remains accessible – in every sense – to enthusiasts.
Best of Show (Post War) went to the Jaeger family’s 1967 Ferrari 275 GTS/4 NART Spider (below), with the Revs Institute’s 1995 McLaren F1 taking Modern honours and Joe Novogratz’s 1934 Alfa Romeo 8C 2300 Lungo Spider scooping Pre War.

The programme boasted over 400 entries, though worries about incoming rainstorms put some off – the Miura 60th Anniversary class suffered, and others packed up and went home on Saturday to avoid Sunday’s downpours. Prizegiving in the large structure that had hosted event partner RM’s Friday night auction was disrupted when the storm struck. Ex-pat British MC Nic Waller announced the evacuation of the marquee with the introduction, “This is not a drill!”

The Canadian firm held a successful auction on Friday, unaffected by rain, and one of our takeaways from the sale was how seemingly disparate genres can coexist. The same vibe was apparent in the concours field, with serried ranks of new Bugattis happily set alongside the “best row of Duesenbergs I have seen”, as an experienced British observer opined.

Ace lensman Peter Singhof was there throughout – here are his memories of ModaMiami 2026.
