The 2026 Amelia Concours in pictures

For all the buzz around the auctions, let’s not forget the main event that started the whole spring car season in northern Florida: the Amelia Island Concours, now known simply as ‘The Amelia’. Top prizes this year went to Bill Lyon’s 1931 Duesenberg Model J ‘Tapertail’ Speedster by Weymann and a 1969 McLaren M8B.

The event was held on Saturday this year and was blessed with good weather. More than 275 rare machines made it to the Ritz-Carlton golf course. Concours honouree this year was multiple Indy 500 winner and IndyCar Series Drivers' Champion Dario Franchitti. Some of his famous single-seaters were arranged around the lake (above).
