When sex was safe... the best of Villa d’Este 2018

The theme of this year’s beautifully situated concours was ‘Hollywood on the Lake’, with a class dedicated to ‘stars of the silver screen’ that boasted vehicles from famous Hollywood productions.

The film-star influence helped to add even more opulence to the usual spread of magnificent motor cars, ranging from pre-War through to four decades of Formula One, the latter class appropriately titled ‘When Sex Was Safe and Racing Was Dangerous’.
